Jim Valvano Speech - 1993

Until I saw this video, I had never heard much about the life of Jimmy Valvano. This is just a really cool speech, given at the ESPYs two months before Valvano succumbed to cancer. I share it not because there's anything obviously related to the Church or to youth ministry, but because this is a great way to respond to personal tragedy. Check it out:
