Media Fast-Internet

Today I begin a 7-day media fast as part of an assignment for a class, "Ethics and Modern Culture." I have chosen to fast from the Internet, since that is the digital media I access the most and the one by which I am most distracted. So, beginning now, no BBC.com, no blogs, no checking the latest news about Apple computers, no agonizing over the plight of the Colorado Rockies (baseball team, that is), and hopefully more time serving others and spending time with Jesus. Please pray for me over the next week.
